Lady Umami

Frankfurt – Proof That Robotic Gastronomy Works

Lady Umami is Germany’s first robotic ghost kitchen and a living proof of concept for F and B Heroes. Asian fusion is prepared not by hand, but by a cooking robot powered by goodBytz, running continuously with real revenue in a competitive market.

Lady Umami

What we learned

01

The technology has moved beyond the prototype stage. Lady Umami operates daily. No showcase, no protected pilot. It is real operations with live orders through platforms such as Wolt.

02

Guests do not notice a difference. In fact, they rate it highly. 9.4 out of 10 on Wolt, with strong repeat order rates. The robot delivers consistent quality that competes with traditional concepts. Robotics is not a compromise, but a true alternative.

03

The economic impact is real. Up to 33 percent higher operating margins compared to industry standards. Not through cheaper ingredients, but through structured processes, reduced dependency on staff, and consistent utilization.

04

The constraint is not hardware, but products. A robot is only as good as the inputs it receives. Existing convenience products are not designed for robotic cooking. This is where a new market is emerging and where we focus.

Conclusion

Lady Umami proves that robotic gastronomy is no longer a future concept. It is ready today, economically, technically, and from the customer’s perspective. Those who act now will build a competitive advantage that will be difficult to replicate in the coming years. More humanity through technology - not a slogan, but a business model.
